All men are invited to join the Cassidy United Methodist Men for food and fellowship on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Coffee and fellowship begin at 7:30 a.m. with a hearty breakfast served at 8. For those who enjoy cooking, preparations begin at 6 a.m.
The United Methodist Men were chartered in 2005 and help with various ministries in the church. In past years, they have provided scholarships for youth to attend church camp, prepared and served chili at the Fall Bazaar, supported a family in need at Christmas, prepared and sold beef jerky, helped with church work days and Kid’s Day, etc.
